Calendar Cell
The Calendar cells have been redesigned to appear lighter and more streamlined, making it easier to read and understand the most important information.
The Published Price — for example, €83 — is clearly highlighted, while the Suggested Price — such as €82 — is shown just above it, in a smaller size.
Another key update involves the gear icon, which indicates whether Price Rules are present and active:
- when bold, it means an active Price Rule is in effect — such as rounding or a min/max price rule.
- when regular (not bold), it means a Price Rule is set, but it's not currently having an effect. A typical case is when a min or max price has been set, but isn't impacting the current value.
Finally, to dive deeper, simply hover over the top-left corner of the cell — on the small “info” icon — to view details of the applied Price Rules.
It’s a quick and easy way to see if and how the final price has been adjusted.
Calendar Display Options
The Calendar Display Options are designed to give you more control and flexibility in your daily use of Smartpricing. We’ve introduced a new icon bar, located just above the Calendar. From here, you can toggle the display of additional information directly inside the cells.
The two main options available for now are:
- Occupancy by unit type – lets you instantly see, day by day, the occupancy level for each unit category.
- Gap filling indicator – on days where the Gap filling option has been applied, a crescent moon icon will appear.
⚠️ Please note: this indicator is only visible for customers who have minimum stay settings managed by Smartpricing.
And this is just the first version!
More customization options will be added in future updates to make the calendar view even more useful and tailored to your needs.
Quick Modifiers [Price Rules]
Another key feature that remains central in the new version of the calendar is the Quick Modifiers — Price Rules that can be quickly applied to each individual unit.
As before, you can access Quick Modifiers by clicking on the room name in the left-hand column.
The main new feature is a toggle to apply a Fixed price.
When this toggle is active, all other modifiers are automatically hidden in the panel to prevent conflicts. This ensures that the set price is not influenced by any other rules.
Another important change involves the old “Increase/Decrease” modifier, which has now been split into two separate options:
- Adjust price, which lets you add or subtract a specific value (e.g., +€5)
- Adjust percentage, which applies a percentage-based change (e.g., +10%)
Naturally, only one of the two can be applied at a time, to keep the final outcome clear and easy to manage.
Date Details
The Date Details panel is still available in the new version of the calendar and can be opened by simply clicking on a specific day.
This feature lets you explore detailed information for a given date and is especially useful to understand what’s influencing the price at that moment.
Compared to the previous version, the panel now includes new information:
- Minimum stay rules set for that day
- Any application of Gap filling — the strategy used to fill gaps between bookings
The Price Details section is, of course, still available (formerly known as “Price justification”): a key tool to understand how the final price is calculated.
Calendar Settings
Another new feature introduced in the updated calendar is the Calendar Settings section, now located in a dedicated menu. Just click on the three dots in the top-right corner — this replaces the old gear icon.
This section brings together all the key configuration options in one convenient place.
Here’s what it includes:
- Market Occupancy: the toggle to display market occupancy has simply been moved here. Its functionality remains unchanged.
- Show Price Rules: when enabled, this option displays all quick modifiers for each property without needing to expand rows individually — simple and immediate.
- Focus Mode: this changes the default calendar behavior. Now, only the first property is shown by default. If you want to view more, just enable the “Show more properties” option from the settings.
You can also select which properties to display, and your selection will be saved for future visits.
Price calculator
A feature previously known as “Calculate price for multiple dates” has been updated and renamed to Price Calculator. You’ll now find it more conveniently placed in the menu (three dots at the top-right corner) within the Calendar page.
But the real update goes beyond the name — it introduces powerful new capabilities:
- You can now perform bulk calculations across multiple properties, without having to analyze them one by one.
- Plus, the Price Calculator lets you sum up prices from different properties in a single operation — especially useful when evaluating combined scenarios, such as group bookings or multi-unit offers.
In short, it’s a more powerful, flexible tool designed to speed up your pricing decisions in even the most complex cases.
Price rules
The “Customize prices” feature, commonly used for large-scale edits, has been renamed to Price Rules.
The name has changed, but the feature is still available in the same place as before.
With this update, the user experience is even more convenient: Price Rules now open in a side panel, which can also be expanded to fullscreen for more space and clarity when managing rules.
A key advantage is that you can continue browsing the calendar while creating rules, so you always have the relevant data in view.
What’s more, you can now apply different sets of price rules to multiple properties and room/unit types in a single operation, making the update process much smoother and more efficient.
Price rules by selection
Another important update concerns the multi-cell selection experience, making it easier to apply Price Rules to multiple dates or units at once.
Compared to the previous version, the interaction has been simplified and made more flexible.
You can now select multiple cells in two ways:
- the familiar method: hold Cmd (Mac) or Ctrl (Windows) and click on the desired cells
- the new method: click the dashed square icon next to the “Price Rules” button to activate multi-selection mode without holding any keys
Events: new interface
Event management has also been revamped to make the experience simpler and more immediate.
When adding or editing an existing event, the classic central popup no longer appears. Instead, a dedicated page opens, where all the event details are visible in a single view. This eliminates the two-step process of the previous version, making the interaction smoother and faster.
Additionally, a very practical improvement has been introduced: it is now possible to set the event's impact on multiple dates at once, saving time, especially for recurring events or those spanning several days.
One small but significant detail: when assigning different weights for each day, clicking "Add" will automatically suggest the next date, further streamlining the data entry process.
