Smartconnect is a Meta Official Partner. Enabling WhatsApp Automations requires connecting a hard-coded phone number to the Meta API.

 

āš ļø The Meta API Limitations:

  • No Standard App Access: You will no longer use the regular WhatsApp app on your phone. All chats route through the Smartconnect inbox.
  • No Voice/Video Calls & No Groups: The API does not support calls or group creation.
  • The 24-Hour Approval Warning: Meta strictly reviews all outbound templates. When you create a new template, it can take up to 24 hours to be approved before you can send it.
