āš™ļø Automations - Email & WhatsApp

The Automations section allows you to set up messages (like WhatsApp texts or emails) that send automatically based on specific triggers, such as a guest booking a room. This guide shows you how to edit existing automations, create new ones, and view their performance.
When you open the Automations tab from the left-hand menu, you will see a list of your existing automated messages. You can use the drop-down menus at the top to filter this list by:

  • Trigger: What causes the message to send (e.g., Guest, Reservation).
  • Status: Whether the automation is Active or Inactive.
  • Messages: The type of message sent (e.g., Email, WhatsApp).

Creating a New Automation

  1. Click the New automation button in the top right corner.

  1. Define the Details:
    • Name: Give your automation a clear, recognizable name (e.g., "Promote Marketplace").
    • Trigger: Select what action should trigger the message (e.g., "Reservation").
    • Audience: Choose whether this goes to All guests or Specific guests. If you select specific guests, you can click Add filters to narrow down the audience based on criteria like property or check-in date.

  1. Add a Message: Click the Add message button.

  • Message type: Select the format (e.g., WhatsApp or Email).
  • Message: Choose a pre-written message from your library or click Create new to draft one from scratch. If creating a new one, you will use the message builder to write the content, add variables, and set translations before clicking Request approval or Save draft.
  • Scheduled send: Define exactly when the message should be delivered relative to the trigger (e.g., "0 days After booking").
  • Click Save in the message panel, and then click the Create button in the top right corner of the main screen to finalize the automation.

Editing an Existing Automation

  1. Click the pencil icon (Edit) next to the automation you want to change.

  1. You can update the trigger, change the audience filters, or add/edit the messages associated with the automation.

  1. Click Save when you are finished.
